LARA ACADEMY

Your trust matters.

Here is how Lara Academy’s current features use your information.

Who runs this project?

Lara Academy is a project led by Mehdi Laraibi. Contact: mehdi@laraibi.com. The publisher’s complete legal details, including a correspondence address, remain to be confirmed.

Your account and progress

Your name, email address and progress help you return to your space. Passwords are protected with hashing.

Video playback

Videos available in the LARA player are served from our hosting after your click. When content uses the YouTube player, it loads after your click in privacy-enhanced mode; YouTube may then process playback data under its own policies.

Conversations and feedback

Comments are moderated before publication. Private feedback helps improve content. Avoid including sensitive information.

Newsletter

Subscription is voluntary and confirmed by email. Messages include an unsubscribe link.

Learning guide

Your question and the relevant content help select curated recommendations from the LARA catalogue. This version uses local guidance without calling an external generation service. The guide does not personally represent our experts; avoid sensitive information.

Google or Facebook sign-in

When a provider is configured and you choose to use it, its account identifier, name and email address support sign-in. Linking to an existing account requires explicit action and password confirmation. Providers also apply their own policies.

Retention periods to be specified

A documented retention period for accounts, progress, contributions and requests remains to be confirmed. For a request about your data, contact mehdi@laraibi.com.

Access, correction and deletion

To request access to, correction of or deletion of your information, write to mehdi@laraibi.com from your account’s email address. Requests are reviewed manually and the relevant account must be verified.

Protecting sign-in

Passwords and session tokens are stored as hashes. The session cookie is inaccessible to page scripts and uses the Secure attribute when the site is served over HTTPS.

Hosting, email and external services

The project uses an OVH VPS and the existing OVH email service. Google and Meta are involved only if you choose an available sign-in method; YouTube is involved if you enable its player or open its external link. These services may process information under their own policies.
